Topics shared at the workshop include: an overview of AI application trends in university education in the world and in Vietnam; exploiting the potential of modern AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gamma.app, Heygen; practicing building personal assistants using AI for teaching and research.
In particular, the content of building "virtual assistants" in teaching and learning activities is of interest to many lecturers and students, who ask questions.
Sharing about the above content, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khiet, General Director of ASCO Vietnam Auditing Company, Chairman of NBO AI Joint Stock Company and NBO Holdings ecosystem, presented the topic "Application of AI in education: Creating excellent assistants, digitizing specialized subjects".
According to Mr. Khiet, to create an excellent AI virtual assistant, each user needs to meet the following criteria: having a ChatGPT Plus account; personalizing according to specific tasks; focusing on the "Configuration" section (with 4 main contents: name, description, instructions, documents)...
According to Mr. Khiet, "Instruction" is considered the heart and soul of an excellent virtual assistant.
Mr. Khiet also guides how to create commands so that AI tools can produce the most accurate results, including context, main task, additional information, expected output format, language and style.
According to experts, AI is a trend, bringing many benefits to users. In which, personal virtual assistants are also one of the effective tools for lecturers to create attractive lectures; or can act as an assistant to directly answer students' questions online, replace lecturers in error statistics, test scoring, analysis...
However, experts also note limitations such as the information provided by AI tools can be misleading, data security is not high...
Associate Professor Dr. Truong Tan Quan, Rector of the University of Economics - Hue University, said that the development of AI requires careful preparation in terms of infrastructure, law, ethics and especially human adaptability. Therefore, the role of schools, lecturers and students becomes more important, not only as users of technology but also as creators, guides and developers of technology in a humane and sustainable way.
