Exciting Banh Tet Wrapping Contest to celebrate the traditional day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 7

Towards the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces Tradition Day of Military Region 7 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025), at the People's Committee of Duc Hue commune, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province organized a Banh Tet wrapping contest with the participation of 4 teams from agencies and units in the provincial armed forces and women's union members and union members of communes.

Attending the contest were Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Political Commissar of Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command, heads of agencies of Military Region 7, leaders of Dong Thanh, My Quy, Binh Thanh and Duc Hue communes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Political Commissar of Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command said that this is a traditional and meaningful activity to strengthen the solidarity between the army and the people; contributing to preserving the traditional culture of the locality. In addition, by wrapping banh tet together, the forces and people have the opportunity to exchange and strengthen their solidarity in performing national defense and security tasks.

Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Khanh - Deputy Political Commissar of Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command delivered the opening speech of the contest.

Four teams participated in the competition: Team 1: Provincial Military Command agencies in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Dong Thanh commune; Team 2: Provincial Border Guard with the Women's Union and union members of My Quy commune; Team 3: Provincial Police in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Binh Thanh commune and Team 4: Logistics and Technical Department of Military Region 7 in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Duc Hue commune.

Candidates take their exam

Teams must complete wrapping banh tet with the required quantity, ensuring proper technique, beauty and food hygiene and safety; and present the cake tray according to the theme of Military Region 7.

The organizing committee awarded prizes to the competing teams.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to Team 4 (Logistics - Technical Department of Military Region 7 in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Duc Hue commune); Second Prize to Team 1 (the agency block of the Provincial Military Command in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Dong Thanh commune); Third Prize to Team 2 (Provincial Border Guard with the Women's Union and union members of My Quy commune) and Team 3 (Provincial Police in coordination with the Women's Union and union members of Binh Thanh commune)./.
