According to the announcement of this agency, the health protection food product Apiroca-B has batch number 0335001, announced and is responsible by APIMED Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City. The product is manufactured by Apimed Pharmaceutical Factory in Dong Nai. This product has been suspended from sale and circulation since July 22 due to poor quality, specifically the test results showed that the content of Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin sodium phosphate) reached 86.9 mg/tablet.

This lack of quality can affect the effectiveness of the product, according to experts. The Food Safety Department requires the factory and the company to handle and fix the problem within 7 days. The product will only be allowed to be sold again if corrective action is taken as required. In recent times, authorities have discovered many cases of manufacturing and trading poor quality drugs and functional foods.

Most recently, the owner of the Tiktok channel 'Gia Dinh Hai Sen' was arrested for selling fake delicious syrup. Since the beginning of the year, the units have handled more than 34,000 violations, including more than 8,200 cases of trading in prohibited goods, more than 25,100 cases of commercial fraud and more than 1,100 cases of counterfeit goods. The agencies have collected more than 4,897 billion VND for the State budget, and prosecuted nearly 1,400 cases with more than 2,100 subjects.
