Tam Ky promotes prevention of violence and child abuse

(QNO) - On the morning of May 28, Tam Ky City People's Committee organized a propaganda program to prevent violence and abuse for nearly 200 children in the city.

At the program, the reporter from Quang Nam Social Work Center conveyed practical contents related to the Law on Children, helping children clearly identify the risks of violence and abuse, especially in the online environment. Children were also warned about injuries and drowning, common dangers during the summer.

In addition, the program teaches prevention skills, self-protection, and problem-solving when physically and mentally injured. Children are introduced to information and support channels such as the National Child Protection Hotline 111, youth organizations, etc. to seek help and participate in activities, play, and study safely in their locality.

With the message “A fun, safe, and rewarding summer”, Tam Ky City leaders hope to build a positive and friendly living environment for children, helping them develop physically and mentally, avoiding harmful risks; at the same time, encouraging children to proactively speak up and protect themselves.
