New Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee encourages people in flood-prone areas

Immediately after the inauguration ceremony, the new Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Le Ngoc Quang, went to the "flood center" in the two districts of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy to encourage people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On the afternoon of October 31, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, and a working delegation of the province inspected the work of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods in the two districts of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy.

Also attending were Mr. Tran Thang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Han, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Visiting flood-hit people in Phong Thuy, Loc Thuy communes (Le Thuy district) and Tan Ninh (Quang Ninh district), Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang and members of the working delegation inquired about people's lives and activities.

Sharing the losses caused by storms and floods, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang acknowledged the proactive response to natural disasters by local Party committees, authorities and people, especially the effective implementation of the "4 on-site" motto, which has contributed to minimizing losses.

The new Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee hopes that people in the "flood center" area will continue to urgently overcome the consequences with the spirit of cleaning up the environment as the water recedes, soon stabilizing the lives and learning of students while ensuring the safety of teachers and students when they return to school.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang also noted that people should pay attention to ensuring safety in daily life and activities, and limit unfortunate incidents that may occur.

At the same time, it is requested that functional forces, Party committees and local authorities continue to speed up the process of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, accompany and support people to quickly stabilize their lives and activities.

On this occasion, Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang and the working delegation presented many gifts to households and encouraged staff and teachers of kindergartens severely affected by floods in the "flood center" localities of Le Thuy and Quang Ninh districts.
