Thai Nguyen new recruits excitedly leave for military service

Kinthedothi- On February 13, districts and cities of Thai Nguyen province simultaneously held military enlistment ceremonies for 2025.

This year, Thai Nguyen province was assigned by the Government to select and recruit over 2,000 citizens to join the army, an increase of 7 targets compared to 2024, including over 1,800 citizens performing military service and over 300 citizens performing People's Public Security service.

Of the total number of citizens eligible for military service, 446 citizens volunteered to join the army, an increase of more than 30 cases (an increase of 8.5%) compared to 2024. According to the assessment of the Provincial Military Service Council, the quality of new recruits joining the army this year continues to improve in both health and educational level.

Along with male citizens, in 2025, Thai Nguyen will have 6 female citizens eligible to join the army. These are citizens with university and post-graduate degrees who will have the opportunity to strive and train for long-term service in the army.
