Strengthening propaganda work to ensure traffic order and safety

Vehicles must comply with regulations on waterway traffic, especially in transporting tourists .

The forces have propagated to 209 cases of restaurant and bar owners and customers to write a commitment to comply with the law on order and traffic safety, strictly implement the Law on Prevention of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer; 13 establishments, 102 drivers of goods transport businesses; 7 owners of transport companies, 249 owners and drivers of trucks and passenger cars, 20 motorbike taxi drivers, 22 drivers of 3-wheel vehicles and horse-drawn carts to comply with the law on traffic safety; at the same time, mobilized to stick reflective decals on vehicles. Organized 7 meetings to learn about the law on order and traffic safety, with 1,495 participants.

Organized 30 propaganda sessions on the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic; preventing drowning for children, with 3,692 participants. Through propaganda, patrolling, and inspection, distributed 8,353 leaflets to captains, chief engineers, operators, and people living along the river; 28 inland waterway port owners committed to strictly comply with the law on waterway traffic. Inspected and combined propaganda with owners of 259 vehicles transporting passengers across the river, transporting tourists, and committed to ensuring the implementation of regulations on order and safety of waterway traffic.

In addition, departments, branches and organizations have organized propaganda on laws on traffic order and safety. The Department of Justice organized 3 seminars and 10 conferences for more than 2,000 delegates to attend; distributed nearly 2,000 propaganda documents to delegates attending the conference. The Departmentof Education and Training directed general schools and educational institutions in the province to organize propaganda and education to raise awareness among officials, teachers and students about compliance with legal regulations on traffic order and safety. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism propagated to travel companies in the province to strictly implement legal regulations on the use of road and waterway vehicles to pick up and drop off tourists.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee focuses on propagating and mobilizing union members, association members and people of all walks of life to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on traffic order and safety, focusing on subjects at high risk of causing traffic accidents such as passenger car drivers, motorcyclists, and teenagers in rural areas; effectively promoting the radio system of communes, wards and towns to promote the theme of Traffic Safety Year 2024 "Respecting the law to build a culture of safe traffic" with many diverse and rich forms.

Women's Unions at all levels continue to improve the quality and replicate the model "Families are responsible for implementing traffic safety" with the messages: "Wear helmets for children when participating in traffic", "If you drink alcohol - Do not drive"; commend typical examples with initiatives and solutions to ensure order and local traffic safety to spread, inspire and replicate in the community. Coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee to organize a contest to apply information technology in disseminating the Road Traffic Law to all levels of the union.

According to Director of the Department of Transport Cao Minh Duc - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, the province will continue to promote the dissemination and education of laws on traffic order and safety, focusing on the Law on Prevention of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer; Decree No. 123/2021/ND-CP of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the decrees regulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of maritime, road traffic, railway, and civil aviation; Decree No. 168/2024/ND-CP dated December 26, 2024 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic; deduction and restoration of driving license points. Strengthen the dissemination and popularization of the two Laws that will take effect from January 1, 2025, namely the Road Law 2024 and the Road Traffic Order and Safety Law 2024. Continue to mobilize the masses to provide information and images reflecting administrative violations of traffic order and safety to the police force.
