These companies review and improve human resource management processes, vehicle and equipment exploitation processes in the airport area at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
At the same time, review safety management systems; disseminate and require vehicle control and equipment operators to strictly comply with minimum safety regulations when providing aviation services as prescribed.
The Civil Aviation Authority also requested Tan Son Nhat International Airport to strengthen close supervision of vehicle operations on the airport, promptly detect violations of safety regulations, and coordinate with the Southern Airport Authority to strictly handle organizations and individuals with violations.
In addition, review, adjust and supplement the safety regulations for airport operations to ensure they are consistent with actual conditions at the airport. Increase dissemination of safety regulations for airport operations to all units operating in the airport.
In addition, the port needs to improve the effectiveness of inspection, monitoring, identification of safety hazards, and implementation of measures to minimize hazards, especially hazards to the operation of vehicles and equipment in the airport area.
The Southern Airport Authority is assigned to inspect the operation of vehicles and equipment in the airport area, strictly handle organizations and individuals with violations related to operational safety; inspect the training and coaching of staff to control and operate vehicles and equipment in restricted areas of airports and airfields of the units.
Previously, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam issued a decision to inspect the ground service situation at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The inspection period is 5 days from April 22. The inspection team is led by Mr. Dinh Van Cung, Chief Inspector of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The team members include: leaders of the Air Transport Department, the Service Quality and Air Transport Supervision Department, Airport Management, Airports, Flight Safety Standards, and the Southern Airport Authority.
