Further strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Vietnam-Egypt Comprehensive Partnership

The Egyptian President highly appreciated the achievements that Vietnam has made and expressed his belief that Ambassador Nguyen Nam Duong will be a bridge to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in many fields.

On October 27, at the Egyptian Presidential Palace in Cairo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Arab Republic of Egypt Nguyen Nam Duong presented his credentials to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

According to a VNA reporter in Cairo, at the letter of credence presentation ceremony, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi sent his regards to General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and Vietnamese leaders.

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi highly appreciated the achievements that Vietnam has made and expressed his belief that Ambassador Nguyen Nam Duong will be a bridge to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in many fields.

Ambassador Nguyen Nam Duong expressed his honor to receive the assignment at an important time, when Vietnam and Egypt have just upgraded their relationship to Comprehensive Partnership.

The Ambassador affirmed that he will do his best to continue to strengthen and promote the good friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The presentation of credentials took place right after the very successful State visit of President Luong Cuong to Egypt in early August 2025 at the invitation of President Al-Sisi.

Within the framework of the visit, the two countries issued a Joint Statement upgrading their relationship to a Comprehensive Partnership, opening a new framework of extensive, substantive cooperation, aiming at long-term and comprehensive effectiveness between the two countries in a series of fields such as politics , defense, security, economy, trade, investment, innovation, cultural exchange..., for the benefit of the people and sustainable development of the two countries./.
