Strengthening cooperation between Hai Phong city and Guangxi province (China)

Welcoming the delegation to visit and work in Hai Phong, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau affirmed that Hai Phong city attaches great importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with Chinese localities, including the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Informing the delegation about the city's socio-economic development situation, the Secretary of the City Party Committee said that currently, there are 407 investment projects from Chinese investors (including mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong) with a total investment capital of 6.36 billion USD. billion USD, ranking first in the number of projects and sixth in the investment capital of FDI enterprises investing in Hai Phong. Currently, the city is focusing on developing 20 new industrial parks with a total area of over 7,000 hectares and has submitted to the Prime Minister the establishment of the Southern Hai Phong Coastal Economic Zone (EZ) with an area of about 20,000 hectares - a multi-industry 3.0 generation ecological EZ, focusing on high-tech industry, seaports, modern logistics and smart cities.
