At the meeting, VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang provided an overview of VNA's activities. With a nationwide network of permanent offices and 30 permanent offices abroad, over the years, VNA has affirmed its position as a key press agency, promptly providing official information on political , economic and social issues of the country, reflecting the views of the Party and State on major current issues in the country, the region and the world.

The General Director of VNA expressed his gratitude to the provincial leaders in general and the Provincial Party Secretary in particular for their attention and facilitation of the VNA's permanent office in Nam Dinh in its professional activities.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Gia Tuc hoped that VNA would pay more attention to Nam Dinh, promote its image and foreign information so that units and partners could better understand Nam Dinh, thereby creating favorable conditions for attracting investment and promoting socio -economic development. The Provincial Party Committee Secretary acknowledged the proposals of VNA and assigned the provincial authorities to consider and resolve them.
Towards the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023), the Provincial Party Secretary wished the General Director of VNA and journalists working at VNA good health, happiness and success.
