Training on digital transformation in tourism statistics in Lang Son - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On May 20, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Lang Son province held the opening ceremony of a training course on digital transformation in tourism in Lang Son province.

The program was attended by lecturers from the Information Center - Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and more than 50 students representing tourism businesses, organizations and individuals doing business in travel services, accommodation and managing tourist areas and attractions in the province.

During the 1-day training course, the training course focused on instructing on the use of statistical reporting software according to Circular 18/2021/TT-BVHTTDL dated December 31, 2021 regulating the statistical reporting regime in tourism activities. Accordingly, trainees were introduced to the purpose, subjects of application, report content and statistical reporting software , and implementation process. Circular 18/2021/TT-BVHTTDL lays the foundation for standardizing tourism statistics through digital platforms, supporting businesses and management agencies to optimize operations.

During the training course, trainees were also introduced to digital platforms for tourism management and business. The platforms were introduced and deployed to help improve operational efficiency, data transparency, and promote digital transformation in the tourism industry, aiming for sustainable and modern development.

The training course was organized to improve knowledge about digital transformation in the tourism sector, apply 4.0 technology to develop smart tourism for trainees, help businesses access platforms to support tourism service business, contribute to building a smart, accurate and timely tourism statistics system, complete the core goals of the tourism industry, gradually improve digital capacity, proactively apply technology in management and business, contribute to the common goal of building and developing Vietnam's tourism industry in general, Lang Son tourism in particular and contribute to building a modern, smart, friendly and sustainable Lang Son tourism industry.
