Training to improve presentation skills for disabled youth

In order to improve communication skills and confidence in participating in social activities, in 2 days (June 7-8), the Provincial Association of People with Disabilities (PWD) organized a training course to improve presentation skills for 30 trainees who are key officials at the Provincial Disabled Youth Club.

At the program, members of the PWD association were trained in skills to confidently present in front of a crowd; practice filming a short film introducing themselves; skills in outlining and developing presentation content; skills in effectively opening a presentation; using voice and body language as well as eye contact, gestures, and posture during the presentation; skills in handling situations and asking and answering questions in difficult situations...

This activity is part of the implementation plan of the project "Capacity building and organizational development for provincial-level disabled people's associations in Vietnam" (CODV3) funded by the Danish government . Through the program, disabled youth members will improve their presentation skills. This is considered a fundamental skill that helps members confidently express their opinions, share their dreams, spread their stories, connect with the community and positively inspire those around them.
