Vocational training for Veterans Association officials in 2024

On the morning of May 3, at the Provincial Vocational Training and Farmers Support Center, the Provincial Veterans Association (VVA) organized a professional training conference for nearly 200 delegates who are Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the VVA Associations of districts and cities; Chairmen of the VVA Associations of communes, wards, towns and Block 487 in the province.

At the training course, delegates were informed and implemented a number of topics: Understanding a number of key tasks of the Association in 2024; a number of basic contents in Resolution No. 02/NQ-CCB of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on "Building a politically and ideologically strong Vietnam Veterans Association in the new period"; solutions to improve the quality of entrusted activities in borrowing capital from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and a number of new policies of the State on borrowing capital from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; skills in receiving and processing documents via the Office system; organization and operation of grassroots organizations of the Vietnam Veterans Association in administrative agencies, public service units and communes, wards and towns. Guidance on providing information on martyrs and martyrs' graves to serve the work of searching for, collecting martyrs' remains and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information.

Delegates were informed of the basic contents of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; instructions on building a model for war veterans to protect the environment; health consultation and cancer prevention. Visited a model of good production and business of war veterans in Gia Hoa commune, Gia Vien district.

The issues thoroughly grasped and discussed at the training course are the basis to help grassroots war veterans raise their sense of responsibility, do a good job of propaganda and mobilizing members and people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local regulations.

Through the training course, cadres of the Veterans Association at the grassroots level are equipped with more theory as well as professional skills to lead and direct the implementation of emulation movements launched by the Veterans Association at all levels; coordinate with participating forces to promptly resolve complicated cases, contributing to maintaining political stability, security and order in localities and grassroots levels.
