Training on professional skills in public reception, complaint handling, and corruption and negativity prevention

On August 27, in Ha Long ward, the Provincial Inspectorate organized a training course on public reception, complaint and denunciation settlement (KNTC) and anti-corruption and anti-negativity for commune-level cadres and civil servants in the province.

Implementing the arrangement of the organizational system, from July 1, 2025, localities and departments and branches will no longer have inspection agencies. Accordingly, departments, branches and localities perform inspection functions and tasks within the scope of state management and the heads (Chairmen of People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and directors of departments and branches) are responsible for assigning subordinate units to advise on the implementation of inspection tasks, receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations and preventing corruption, waste and negativity according to the provisions of law.

With fundamental changes in the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and preventing corruption, waste and negativity at the grassroots level, the training course helps professional departments and officials and civil servants assigned to advise Party committees and authorities to grasp legal regulations and powers in receiving citizens, resolving complaints and preventing corruption and negativity when implementing the 2-level government model.

Speaking at the training course, Comrade Nguyen Kim Anh, Provincial Party Committee member, Provincial Inspector, emphasized: The training aims to equip grassroots cadres with necessary knowledge and skills, especially in the context of increasingly high task requirements. He asked the trainees to seriously study, actively discuss and frankly exchange problems and shortcomings in practical work at the grassroots level, thereby firmly grasping the knowledge to effectively apply it to practical work.

The Provincial Inspectorate will continue to perform its duties and responsibilities well, improve the effectiveness of advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in inspection work, receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, preventing corruption, waste and negativity; build a team of cadres with strong character and professional expertise, meeting the requirements of the new situation; continue to accompany the grassroots government in the current period.
