Tourism training in 2025

On November 12-13, at Tam Dao Tourist Area, Tam Dao Commune, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training course on tourism skills for officials and employees of businesses and tourism service establishments in the province.

During the training course, students were taught by lecturers from Hanoi College of Tourism about 3 key topics on tourism operations, including: Tourism accommodation business; documents related to tourism accommodation business activities; management and supervision of tourism accommodation business activities. Along with theory, students were also instructed in practicing important professional skills such as reception, room service, bartending, community tourism organization skills and culinary arts, factors that contribute to creating a complete experience for tourists. In addition, the training course also focused on introducing new criteria on green tourism, building green hotels; methods of protecting, managing and sustainably using environmental resources and applying digital technology in tourism promotion and operation.

Through the training course, trainees have the opportunity to update new professional knowledge, grasp the development trends of the industry in the integration period; practice specialized professional skills, from reception, service, customer care to management, operation of accommodation facilities in a professional and modern direction; foster soft skills such as communication, presentation, situation handling, emotional control, helping workers improve professional style, civilized and friendly behavior with tourists.
