The incident happened at around 9pm on November 7. A group of four young women went to a coffee shop named N. located on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Gia Dinh Ward (HCMC) to experience the experience.
Here, groups of customers drank coffee and took photos with artificial snow. This is a popular service in coffee shops in big cities at this time of year as Christmas approaches.
The photo shoot quickly ended due to an argument between the group of guests and a woman named H. who lives next to the coffee shop.

Several witnesses at the scene shared the tense moment between the two sides on many social media platforms. The posts immediately went viral, receiving great attention with many mixed opinions.
Besides the comments that women should review their behavior, there are also opinions that agree, the indignation of people living around is also understandable.
“The artificial snow machine is quite noisy. The incident happened late at night when people want to rest in peace. I do not support the woman’s actions, but the four girls should also reconsider their attitude,” shared an account named An Nhien.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Luu Duc Thang, manager of N. coffee shop, said that at around 8:45 p.m. on November 7, the shop sprayed snow to serve customers taking photos.
The staff had positioned the snow blower towards the restaurant so as not to affect the surrounding houses. However, due to strong winds, it was difficult to avoid the snow blowing to the neighboring houses at times.

The noise from the snow machine and the smell of the artificial snow made Ms. H., who lives in the house next to the shop, feel stuffy and uncomfortable. The woman immediately tried to remind her, but the group of female customers reacted.
Mrs. H. then used a bucket of water from a high floor to splash down on the group of guests, but it did not hit them. The situation became more tense when Mrs. H. and some family members came down to argue with the group of female guests.
“At that time, the staff inside the restaurant learned about the situation and ran out to stop it, and at the same time informed the restaurant owner to come and resolve the matter. About 15 minutes later, the restaurant owner arrived, the customers had already left, and the neighbors had also closed the door and gone to sleep,” said Mr. Thang.
The next day, the restaurant representative called and met with both sides to apologize and hope to receive sympathy.

On November 12, the restaurant representative and Ms. H. were present at Gia Dinh Ward Police Station to report the incident that occurred on the evening of November 7. The restaurant pledged not to use snow machines, not to allow customers to take photos on the street, causing traffic obstruction and disorder in the neighborhood.
Ms. H. also pledged not to make provocative statements or actions. When it is necessary to resolve issues related to neighborhood security and order, she will contact the police to resolve them according to the law.
After several days of silence, on November 12, on the official fanpage, N. Coffee Shop officially sent a public apology.
Accordingly, the restaurant representative frankly stated that the incident stemmed from a lack of guidance and handling of situations for employees when unexpected incidents occurred, especially when the manager was not present.
After the incident, the restaurant proactively apologized to customers who had a bad experience at that time. The restaurant regretted that the incident affected the customer experience.
Regarding the artificial snow spraying activity, this is a service that was deployed to create a new experience space for customers and was announced to surrounding households. The activity has been taking place since the end of September until now.
However, after this incident, the cafe realized that it needed to review to avoid further impact. Therefore, the cafe decided to temporarily suspend the snow spraying service until a more suitable solution is found.
The grassroots representative hopes to receive understanding and objective views from the community, to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
