DTO - On August 11, in Ninh Kieu district (Can Tho city), the Department of Press - Ministry of Information and Communications organized a training course, guiding the implementation of measurement and assessment of the level of maturity of digital transformation of journalism for nearly 200 trainees who are leaders, reporters, editors, and technicians of 84 newspapers, radio stations, and magazines in the Southern region.
Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hanh - Head of the Press Digital Transformation Support Center (Press Department) introduced the set of indicators to evaluate and measure the maturity level of press digital transformation.
At the training course, trainees learned the following topics: Digital transformation of journalism to 2025 and orientation to 2030; Dissemination of the implementation of Decision No. 951/QD-BTTTT and introduction of the set of indicators to evaluate and measure the maturity level of digital transformation of journalism. Immediately after learning the topics, trainees practiced using software tools to measure and evaluate the maturity level of digital transformation of journalism.
Representatives of Dong Thap Newspaper leaders and officials attended the training course.
At the end of the training course, trainees who meet the requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by the Department of Press - Ministry of Information and Communications.
Representatives of newspapers, radio stations and magazines who met the requirements took souvenir photos with the class's Organizing Committee.
The training aims to guide press agencies in using software tools and applying the set of indicators to assess and measure the maturity level of digital transformation in the press properly to ensure unified and synchronous implementation nationwide.
It is known that the time to apply the Index to evaluate and measure the maturity level of digital transformation of newspapers is from September 1, 2023.
