During the April 30 and May 1, 2025 holidays, forest rangers must be on duty 24/7; regularly patrol and inspect key forests and border areas with complicated developments, promptly detect and strictly handle acts of deforestation, illegal exploitation and transportation of forest products.
Media agencies should step up information dissemination and propaganda on laws on forest management, protection, and forest fire prevention and fighting. Increase the amount of news coverage, continue to disseminate and strongly condemn acts of forest burning, illegal logging, exploitation, and encroachment on forest land to raise people's legal awareness in forest management and protection.
Forest owners are primarily responsible for managing and protecting forests and forest land in the areas assigned and leased. Strictly implement the forest owners' responsibility to protect forests; regularly patrol and inspect forests, promptly detect and prevent deforestation, forest fires, exploitation of forest products, and encroachment on forest land.
Do not allow forests to be burned, destroyed, exploited, or illegally encroached upon without promptly detecting and reporting to the authorities as prescribed. Proactively coordinate closely with local authorities and relevant agencies to resolve disputes and encroachment on forest land within the assigned and managed areas as soon as the incident arises.
