Focus on innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

Content of supervision of leadership, direction and implementation of Notice No. 160-TB/TW, dated January 15, 2020 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for the Standing Committee of Que Son District Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Que Son District; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son District; Party Delegation of the Provincial Women's Union; Ms. Dang Thi Le Thuy - Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union. The supervision period is 3 years, from 2021 - 2023.

Through written monitoring reports and surveys to grasp the situation at the Que Son District Farmers' Association, the Que Xuan 2 Commune Party Committee (Que Son District), the Thang Binh District Women's Union and the Phu Ninh District Women's Union, the monitoring delegation acknowledged the focused leadership and direction of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels; thoroughly grasped and actively innovated the content and methods of operation, achieving many important results.

In particular, promptly issue documents to lead, direct and specify the implementation of Notice No. 160 and resolutions and directives of the Party on the work of the Front; strictly implement the Regulations on mass mobilization work of the political system; periodically work and exchange with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; lead and direct the work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of resolutions and directives on the work of the Front and socio-political organizations. Awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and cadres and Party members in the political system about the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations has been raised.

The working methods of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels are increasingly innovated towards being closer to the grassroots and residential areas; the content of activities is increasingly specific, practical and effective. Campaigns and emulation movements are actively responded to by a large number of union members, association members and people.

The activities of supervision, social criticism, and contributions to Party and government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have been proactively and focusedly implemented; the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, association members, and people has been gradually promoted.

Mass mobilization work of the political system has been implemented synchronously; the coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations with the government has been increasingly strengthened, close and effective. The organization and staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations have been constantly consolidated and improved, increasingly meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

However, the work of leadership, direction, organization, dissemination, implementation, inspection, supervision, preliminary review and evaluation of the implementation results of Notice No. 160 in some Party organizations has not received due attention. The work of propaganda, mobilization, gathering and attracting union members, association members and people to participate in the organization and movements and campaigns launched by the Front and socio-political organizations has been slow to innovate and has not gone into depth.

Coordination work to grasp the situation of union members, union members and people, and public opinion is sometimes not timely. Organizing direct dialogues between leaders of Party committees, authorities and people and forums for people to contribute ideas to build a team of cadres and civil servants in some communes and towns is not of high quality, especially the direction and resolution of recommendations after dialogues.

The quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism by political and social organizations at all levels, especially at the commune level, are still limited. The work of developing union members and association members is still difficult, the quality is not high; the rate of union members and association members participating in activities is low. The role of the core force in religion and the core of the movement has not been fully promoted. The role of the people as the main subject in building new rural areas has not been properly promoted.

After the conference at the party organizations, the Supervisory Delegation continued to examine and verify unclear contents, discuss with representatives of party organizations and supervised party members about the results and complete the supervision report, and advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to announce the supervision conclusion.
