Workshop to contribute ideas from the province's intellectual team to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly

On April 3, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (S&T) organized a workshop to collect comments and contributions from intellectuals in the province to the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Overview of the workshop.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, scheduled to open in early May 2025, will pass 11 Laws, comment on 16 Laws and especially review and amend the 2013 Constitution, Laws and Regulations related to the implementation of Conclusions No. 126, 127, 128 of the Politburo and related policies and guidelines of the Party Central Committee. The session is expected to last for about 2 months (with a 3-week break between sessions). This could be the longest session ever with a huge amount of work, of important and historical significance to the country, in which the main content is related to the policy on arrangement and organization of the apparatus in the political system, which is being implemented by all levels and sectors in a positive, urgent and drastic spirit of "running and queuing at the same time".

At the workshop, the leaders of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, together with leaders of a number of member associations, collective members, a number of intellectuals, experts, and scientists, discussed and made recommendations focusing on a number of contents: On the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on Continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; recovering and developing the socio-economy after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; issues of labor, employment and social security; education - training and vocational training, health, food safety; ensuring security, order, and social safety; exploitation of resources, minerals, environmental protection, response to climate change; prevention and fight against corruption and negativity; ethnicity, religion; foreign affairs of the Party and State...

Delegates spoke and contributed opinions at the conference.

Through the comments contributed at the workshop, the intelligence, enthusiasm, deep understanding and sense of responsibility of the intellectual team in the system of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations towards the big, important issues and policies and development of the country in the coming time were demonstrated.

After the workshop, the Workshop Organizing Committee assigned the Secretariat to synthesize comments and contributions to develop a report to send to the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to reflect to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly before April 7.
