According to the report of the City Party Committee, implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the City Party Committee is continuing to urgently direct the implementation of activities and events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day according to the Plan. Of the total 110 response activities, 36 activities have been completed and 74 activities are continuing to be implemented according to the approved plan. The program of reviewing the team and mass parade on May 11, 2025 has been and is being urgently implemented in accordance with the direction of the City Party Committee Standing Committee. Preparations for the groundbreaking, inauguration, groundbreaking and signboarding ceremonies of works and projects to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), the Celebration Ceremony and the Art Program to open the Festival are being urgently directed to be completed according to regulations.

At the meeting, the Departments, branches and units reported on preparations to welcome delegates, especially leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches and localities to attend the Anniversary Ceremony; presenting gifts to outstanding individuals; celebration work; live broadcasting of the Anniversary Ceremony; groundbreaking, commencement and inauguration of works and projects; ensuring security and safety for activities taking place on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day, receiving the title of "Heroic City" and opening the Red Flamboyant Festival in 2025, including ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting safety, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau acknowledged the efforts of the City Party Committee and People's Committee in focusing on directing departments, branches, units and localities to closely coordinate to complete nearly 40 activities on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day in the past time. For more than 70 activities that will continue to take place from now until May 14, they are very urgent and important, so the Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the City Party Committee and People's Committee to focus on directing and mobilizing maximum human and material resources to ensure the activities in general, the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day, receiving the title of "Heroic City" and opening the Red Flamboyant Festival 2025 to be a great success. In particular, the Secretary of the City Party Committee noted that the reception of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, central and local branches must be thoughtful and solemn, especially ensuring absolute security and safety throughout the activities of the Anniversary. At the same time, it is recommended that the City Party Committee direct the installation of additional large screens in the City Theater area and districts to spread the important event and pride to a large number of people and tourists coming to the city on this occasion.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee also agreed with the proposed plan of the City Party Committee and People's Committee on a number of activities before and during the celebration program, and requested that any problems arising during the activities should be promptly reported to the leaders and commanders of agencies and units for urgent direction./.
