• BRINGING A BETTER LIFE TO PEOPLE
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed the motto "The Party leads, the State manages, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations support, and the people are the masters" in implementing the Temporary Housing Elimination Program nationwide. In particular, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of national solidarity, in which each person and each locality has the responsibility to contribute to the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. Localities must make every effort and carry out specific tasks with a high spirit of determination, not only to achieve the goal but also to demonstrate solidarity and love for each other in the community.
Looking back over the past time, Lam Dong has made significant progress in implementing the Temporary Housing Elimination Program. In 2024, the province mobilized more than 47.7 billion VND, of which 46.8 billion VND was used to build and repair houses for poor households. Thanks to this effort, 821 new houses were built, 150 old houses were repaired and the goal of eliminating 971 temporary houses was completed.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai said that in 2025, Lam Dong province will continue to mobilize resources to implement the program, while calling for support from the business community and social organizations. In addition, promoting propaganda and removing obstacles in land legal procedures will be key factors to accomplish this goal.
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is not simply about building houses, but also a humane revolution. To achieve this goal, Lam Dong province has mobilized over 68.8 billion VND from socialized resources, creating more than 1,170 new houses and repairing them for poor and near-poor households. This is a testament to the spirit of solidarity and the joint efforts of the whole community in bringing a better life to the people.
However, there are still difficulties in the implementation process, mainly related to legal procedures on land. Lam Dong provincial leaders, departments, branches and localities pledged to continue to make efforts to resolve these problems, speed up the progress of housing construction and repair to complete the target before the third quarter of 2025.

• COMMITMENT FROM THE HEART
Lam Dong continues to demonstrate strong determination in completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized: “We must carry out this task with all our heart, for humanitarian purposes. Each newly built house is not only a warm home for the poor, but also a symbol of the tireless efforts of the Lam Dong government and people."
According to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Lam Dong has so far built and repaired thousands of houses, contributing to changing the face of the countryside and helping people have a more stable life. Despite many challenges, Lam Dong province is committed to completing the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025, on time for Party congresses at all levels.
Every day, people and authorities at all levels join hands and devote themselves to Lam Dong's development, bringing joy and happiness to every family and every community.
To achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by October 2025, Lam Dong province needs the cooperation and responsible contribution of all businesses, organizations and people in the province. Each individual and each business can contribute a part of their efforts, finances, or time to build a prosperous community, where no one has to live in temporary and inadequate houses.
Enterprises, with their strong resources and potential, can not only contribute financially but also participate in building and repairing houses for poor households. These practical actions will contribute to spreading the spirit of community responsibility, while demonstrating the noble gesture of supporting people in difficult circumstances. In this way, enterprises not only help in the real life of people, but also contribute to the sustainable development of Lam Dong province.
For the people, each of us can contribute a small part, whether material or spiritual, to support poor households. People with conditions can share resources, help materially or participate directly in support activities, contribute working days to build and repair houses. This consensus and sharing will create a strong wave, adding strength to help poor households overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
The strong and unanimous participation of the business community, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, as well as each Lam Dong citizen will be the decisive factor in completing the goal of eliminating temporary housing before the deadline of October 2025. We can be proud when looking back at the results of a large-scale humanitarian campaign, not only helping the poor have a solid home but also building an increasingly developed, prosperous and humane Lam Dong province.
