Ship CSB 8005 leaves Kochi port, concluding visit and exchange activities in India

( Bqp.vn ) – On the morning of December 20, ship CSB 8005 and the Vietnam Coast Guard delegation left the port of Kochi city (Kerala state, India), successfully concluding the visit and exchange with the Indian Coast Guard.

The visit, exchange and experience sharing of the Vietnam Coast Guard in India this time is part of the international cooperation program between the two forces to strengthen friendly cooperation, especially in the fields of maritime security, safety and marine environmental protection. The visit not only further tightens the friendly cooperation between the two forces, but also actively contributes to building a secure, safe, peaceful and stable maritime environment. According to Colonel Nguyen Minh Khanh, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command (Vietnam Coast Guard), the visit and exchange was a great success, achieving the goals and requirements, opening up new opportunities for deeper and more substantial cooperation between the maritime law enforcement forces of the two countries, contributing to consolidating the traditional friendship and affirming the role of the two forces in performing law enforcement tasks at sea.

Immediately after leaving the port, in the Kochi sea area, the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Indian Coast Guard Region 4 will conduct joint exercises on search and rescue, fire prevention and fighting, and oil spill response at sea.
