At the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, Vietnam will hold a sea parade for the first time. The sea parade will take place at Cam Ranh military base (Khanh Hoa), and the images will be transmitted to the main screen at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi) at the same time as the military artillery and special police vehicles pass the stage.

The sea parade featured Kilo 636 submarines, missile frigates, anti-submarine frigates, missile boats, gunboats, multi-purpose rescue ships, Ka-28 anti-submarine helicopters and DHC-6 seaplanes, along with many other equipment.
This is the core force in managing and firmly protecting the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
The ships will line up to salute the flag and review the parade formation at sea in A, V, and diamond formations.

To prepare for this important event, the Vietnam People's Navy units have spent more than 2 months practicing in harsh weather conditions in the East Sea. There were days with level 5-6 waves and strong winds, making it very difficult to maintain distance and keep the formation on the right track.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Xuan Tiep, Captain of the missile frigate Tran Hung Dao 015, shared that the unit always tries to calculate accurately so that right from the training, the formation must be both beautiful in appearance and demonstrate modernity and discipline while ensuring absolute safety.
While the ships were forming up, in the sky, DHC-6 seaplanes and Ka-28 anti-submarine helicopters flew in synchronous formation with the ship squadrons below, creating a majestic picture "in the air - under the sea", demonstrating the combined strength of the Navy.
This requires pilots and mechanics to be very careful and meticulous in their technical work. Each aircraft is thoroughly inspected: engine, avionics, radar, communications, control equipment. All parameters must meet absolute standards.
