On December 5, Dong Nai Children's Hospital announced that it had just treated a child patient (4 years old, residing in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) who suffered severe brain damage due to falling down the stairs.

It is noteworthy that many hours after the fall, the child's brain damage symptoms appeared.

After surgery, the patient's health is now stable and he is eating well.

Specifically, on November 26, the child was admitted to the hospital in a conscious state but had symptoms of headache and vomiting. Family members said that the day before, the child fell down the stairs.

After checking and seeing no signs of anything unusual, the family was relieved. But at night, the baby complained of a headache and vomited, so the family took him to the hospital.

Through examination and CT scan results, doctors discovered a very large blood clot in the patient's head, causing compression of the brain and ordered emergency surgery. The surgery was successful after 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Currently, the patient's health is stable, he is eating well and can be discharged in the next few days.
