A unique "tutoring" model
In Vietnam, “tutor” is often understood as someone who tutors students in subjects, while “psychology” is associated with therapy for problematic cases. TeenCare – aneducational model born in 2022 – combines both of these elements to create a completely new concept: psychological and life skills tutor.
Instead of teaching knowledge, mentors at TeenCare listen to students, help them manage emotions, adjust their behavior and develop the necessary skills for adult life. Each student has a personal mentor, accompanying them 1:1 throughout the program, which lasts at least one year.

Emotional education ecosystem
TeenCare does not operate as a separate class, but builds a comprehensive development journey based on the Body - Mind - Spirit model:
● Body: Exercise through yoga, cardio and age-appropriate exercise.
● Mind: Accompany emotions with a personal mentor, helping students look back on their inner self, behavior and relationships with loved ones.
● Tri: Comprehensive life skills and sex education class – organized weekly in small groups.
The special thing is that students will receive a monthly TeenCare gift box at home, including a journey map, a handwritten letter from a mentor, and a challenge to connect with their parents. This is not just a gift, but a meaningful psychological touch point for adolescents.
Parents are not left out
Unlike many other programs, TeenCare requires active participation from parents. Parents are invited to attend orientation from the beginning, receive regular reports, receive coaching and mentoring if needed, and are taught how to write handwritten letters to their children – an emotional connection tool.
TeenCare representative shared: “We do not teach for parents. We accompany them, so that parents are no longer alone in the journey of raising their children during puberty – which is very lonely and full of changes.”
More than 70,000 students and the expectation of changing educational standards
After just over 2 years, TeenCare has expanded to more than 100 schools nationwide, supporting more than 70,000 students and building a system of nearly 200 well-trained mentors. At the same time, the SOHE (School of Happiness Education) program - TeenCare's sex education and life skills branch - has been officially licensed to be deployed in the public school system.
TeenCare is also developing a strong home learning network with a membership model, its own learning app, progress tracking system, online classes and regular extracurricular activities.

Not quick change – but real change
At TeenCare, growth is measured by lasting connections, not “dramatic changes after a few weeks.” As one parent shared:
“I used to think you were lazy and stubborn. But it turns out, you just needed someone to believe in you first.”
TeenCare is not a place to “train children to be good people”. This is a space for both children and parents to learn to look at each other with new eyes – as the program’s slogan states: “You don’t have to be perfect to love each other. Just care enough to try.”

Simple philosophy, pioneering model
TeenCare is built on prestigious international frameworks such as CASEL (USA), PSHE (UK), WHO Life Skills, combined with curriculum developed by the domestic team. However, the core of TeenCare's vitality is not in the documents - but in the philosophy:
Education is not to fill, but to light.
And once that fire is lit – with enough patience, love, and understanding – every child can become the best version of themselves.
