The joy of reaping the rewards of hard work.
As 2025 drew to a close, many businesses in Lao Cai province had completed their production and business targets. This result not only reflects the recovery and growth of businesses but also directly improves the income and living standards of workers.

At Babeeni Vietnam Co., Ltd., Lao Cai branch, a growth rate of over 10% in the past year has brought a sense of excitement to more than 400 workers.
Within the factory grounds, the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year) become more bustling than usual. Instead of the familiar sound of sewing machines, workers gather to wrap banh chung and banh gu – traditional Tet cakes. This simple activity holds special significance, because for many workers far from home, this is a rare moment when they can gather together like a family.
The atmosphere became even warmer with the homegrown cultural performances and traditional games organized right at the factory. The hearty laughter and enthusiastic applause seemed to erase the distance between management and workers.
The early joy of Tet (Lunar New Year) comes not only from cultural and spiritual activities but also from concrete figures: stable employment and a 10% increase in workers' income at the factory compared to the previous year.

For many workers, especially ethnic minorities from remote areas, this stable income is of great significance, helping them cover living expenses, take care of their families, and have better conditions to prepare for a more fulfilling Tet holiday.
Beyond just income, many businesses also focus on improving the working environment, welfare benefits, and organizing visits to workers in difficult circumstances.
These actions, though small, bring great spiritual value and contribute to building strong labor relations.

According to Mr. Luu Quoc Cuong, Chairman of the Trade Union of Babeeni Vietnam Company, Lao Cai branch, the majority of workers at the factory are ethnic minorities with limited economic resources. Therefore, organizing Tet activities and giving gifts to support them not only has material significance but also serves as a source of moral encouragement.
"We want every worker to feel the company's care. These Tet gifts may not be large, but they are a token of gratitude and also motivate employees to enter the new year with more enthusiasm," Mr. Cuong shared.
Early Tet (Lunar New Year) - motivation for a new journey.
In fact, not only Babeeni but many businesses in industrial parks and economic zones of Lao Cai province are also implementing a series of programs to take care of their employees during Tet (Lunar New Year), such as: "Tet Reunion, Spring Gratitude to the Party," "Trade Union Tet Market," giving bus tickets home, organizing year-end meals, or lucky draw programs. The work of taking care of employees during Tet is spreading throughout businesses. Welfare benefits and reward programs are all implemented openly and transparently by the units.
These programs have become a source of moral support for many workers, especially those who cannot afford to return home for Tet (Lunar New Year).

At Unico Global YB Co., Ltd., the Tet holiday atmosphere arrived earlier than usual. After a year of exceeding 120% of its plan with 15 million products shipped, the "Unico Festival" was organized as the most practical way to express gratitude to the nearly 1,300 employees of the company.
Besides addressing employee well-being, businesses are also thoughtfully handling the issue of Tet bonuses to retain workers. The 13th-month salary bonus is guaranteed to be paid in full, motivating workers to actively contribute to production in the days leading up to Tet.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Chairman of the Trade Union of Unico Global YB Co., Ltd., said: "The company will organize Tet bonuses for employees with a value equivalent to one month's basic salary, with a minimum of 4,800,000 VND and a maximum of 15,000,000 VND."

For the 2026 Lunar New Year, some industrial factories in Lao Cai province plan to have workers work throughout the holiday to maintain production and fulfill orders. This means that many workers will celebrate New Year's Eve right at the factory.
However, instead of feeling disadvantaged, many people see this as an opportunity to increase their income and demonstrate their responsibility to the company. Businesses also proactively organize year-end meals, decorate production areas, and give gifts so that workers who work throughout the Tet holiday can still feel the festive atmosphere.
This Lunar New Year, the Trade Union Committee of industrial zones and economic zones in Lao Cai province distributed 700 gifts worth 700 million VND to union members and workers in industrial zones and economic zones at the second facility.
In addition, many organizations, individuals, and businesses directly donate meaningful gifts to employees. These actions, though simple, demonstrate care and contribute to retaining employees.
Therefore, celebrating Tet early in the factory is not just about gifts or year-end parties, but also a manifestation of the partnership between businesses and workers, sharing difficulties and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Tet may arrive early in the factory, but its positive impact will last throughout the year, becoming a motivation for workers to continue their commitment to their jobs, contributing to the development of the business and the local community.
A new spring is coming. For the workers of Lao Cai, it is not only a time for reunion but also the beginning of new hopes – hopes for more stable jobs, a better life, and a more sustainable future.
