Releasing 7kg python into the wild

(Baohatinh.vn) - After buying a 7kg python, Mr. Bui Thanh Hien (residing in Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province) handed it over to the authorities to release it into the natural environment.

The Huong Khe Forest Ranger Station ( Ha Tinh province ) recently coordinated with Vu Quang National Park to receive a python handed over by a local resident.

Earlier, Bui Thanh Hien saw a local resident returning from the forest with a python weighing about 7kg, and he bought it for nearly 2 million VND.

Shortly after, Mr. Hien went online and learned that this species of python, scientifically known as Python molurus, is listed as an endangered and rare animal species in group IIB, so he contacted the authorities to arrange for its release back into its natural environment.

On the afternoon of September 9th, the Huong Khe Forest Ranger Station, in coordination with Vu Quang National Park, received the python handed over by Mr. Hien and released it back into its natural environment.
