Vo Nhai district strives to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to the direction of the Secretary of Thai Nguyen province, district leaders must be more determined in leading and directing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in their localities. At the same time, they must not allow negativity, taking advantage of policies, providing support to the wrong beneficiaries, omitting beneficiaries or ensuring the quality of construction works.

In particular, the province will strictly handle acts of taking advantage of policies for personal gain, distorting the support targets according to regulations. Officials, civil servants, and related units that have negative behaviors, abuse, and take advantage of policies will be strictly handled.

Districts and cities need to assign specific tasks and areas of responsibility to each member of the Steering Committee. Ensure infrastructure, land, materials, and human resources when implementing support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

Regularly evaluate the results and progress of each locality, associated with the responsibilities of members assigned to the area.

Proactively propose solutions to overcome difficulties at the grassroots level. Use results and progress of temporary and dilapidated houses to evaluate and classify cadres and consider emulation, rewards and discipline during the year.

Regarding the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the Secretary of Thai Nguyen province requested: In addition to focusing on progress, correct components and subjects, the quality of construction works must also be ensured. Support works must comply with civil housing construction standards, ensuring material quality, structural safety and living facilities.

During the construction process, close supervision must be carried out to ensure that the project is completed according to technical standards and progress; the quality of the project must be inspected and supervised by competent authorities; the materials used must have clear origins and meet quality standards.

In addition, processes and procedures must be carried out in accordance with legal regulations, encouraging the participation of socio-political organizations and people in supervising construction implementation.

The Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee also requested the entire province to effectively implement the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", strengthen propaganda and information, create high consensus in society, and prevent petitions and complaints from occurring, causing public outrage.

Thai Nguyen province determined to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses before April 30, 2025

Currently, Thai Nguyen province has 6/9 districts and cities that have completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. This is a high determination, great effort, and drastic action of the entire provincial political system. The latest report of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee shows that as of March 28, 2025, the whole province has completed the construction and repair of 92% of houses eligible for support, the remaining (119 houses), determined to be completed before April 30, 2025.
