(MPI) – On September 24, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1029/QD-TTg on the Plan to implement the Thai Nguyen Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The plan aims to effectively implement Decision No. 222/QD-TTg dated March 14, 2023 of the Prime Minister approving the Thai Nguyen Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; develop a roadmap to effectively organize and implement programs and projects to complete the set planning goals and tasks.
At the same time, specifically determine the progress and resources for implementing programs and projects to develop policies and solutions to attract social resources in implementing the planning; promote the development of sectors, fields, programs and projects according to the approved planning.
Programs and projects to implement the planning include public investment projects; investment projects using capital sources other than public investment capital; projects expected to be prioritized for investment and phased implementation until 2030.
Regarding investment projects using capital sources other than public investment capital, increase mobilization of non-budgetary capital sources to invest in completing the province's economic and social infrastructure to maximize the effectiveness of public investment infrastructure works.
At the same time, attract investment in industrial development towards improving productivity, quality, efficient use, saving resources, energy, and being environmentally friendly; increase the occupancy rate of existing industrial parks and industrial clusters and invest in building new industrial parks and industrial clusters, especially in the southern region of the province. Prioritize the development of a number of industries with potential and strengths of the province such as electricity, electronics, semiconductor industry; processing, manufacturing, mechanical, metallurgy industry; agricultural and forestry processing industry; mineral exploitation and processing industry; garment industry; ...
Developing services - urban areas, financial services - banking, post and telecommunications, logistics with focus and key points; attracting investors with financial potential, capacity and experience to invest in tourist areas based on the strengths of resort and ecological tourism associated with history, culture and spirituality; in which, focusing on Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area, the eastern slope of Tam Dao, tea culture, the special national historical relic site of the Safety Zone (ATK), the Ly Nam De relic site...
Invest in agricultural development in the direction of forming specialized agricultural production areas; attract businesses to invest in high-tech agriculture, associated with the development of ecological landscape agricultural tourism, experiential tourism, etc.
Regarding public investment projects, Thai Nguyen will focus on implementing infrastructure projects, especially transport infrastructure with regional and inter-regional connectivity; electricity, water supply, irrigation, disaster prevention and control, and climate change adaptation systems in a synchronous manner to meet production and living needs; urban development; investment in digital infrastructure, safe and modern information and communication infrastructure.
Pay attention to implementing infrastructure projects for tourism development; renovating, embellishing, and promoting the value of special national relics, national relics, and provincial relics; investing in important cultural and sports institutions; increasing investment in medical, educational and training facilities; investing in social protection and social security facilities; investing in science, technology and innovation infrastructure; infrastructure and facilities for fire prevention and fighting, national defense and security./.
