Visit and give gifts to officers and soldiers on duty at Ne Island

On July 5, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with relevant units to visit and present gifts to officers and soldiers on duty to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland at Ne Island (Ngu Loc Commune, Hau Loc).

The delegation presented gifts to officers and soldiers on duty at Ne Island.

Also participating in the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, a number of provincial departments, branches, and organizations and Hau Loc district. This is a practical activity in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week with the theme: "Management and sustainable use of marine space" and World Oceans Day 2024 with the theme: "A deeper understanding of the ocean".

Ne Island has an important strategic position in terms of security and defense of the sea and islands of Thanh Hoa province as well as of Military Region 4.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation listened to the leader of the Ne Island Joint Company (under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command) report on the implementation of work and tasks of the unit and officers and soldiers on the island.

Over the years, officers and soldiers of Ne island have always overcome all difficulties, been self-reliant, self-reliant, strived to study and train, excellently completed all assigned tasks, built a strong and comprehensive unit, contributing to maintaining the sea, islands and airspace of the Fatherland with the motto "The unit is home - the sea and islands are homeland".

The production increase work always exceeds the target. The unit always achieves the title of decisive victory, leading the emulation movement of the Provincial Military Command. The unit has also actively participated in responding to the Vietnam Sea and Islands Week and the annual World Oceans Day with many positive and effective activities.
