“Detective Kien: The Headless Case” reveals first images

The producer of the movie “Detective Kien: The Headless Case” has just released the First Look trailer with mysterious and suspenseful images and shows the elaborate set design.

The images in the First look trailer show a jungle scene with the main cold tones of blue, gray and black. The film opens up a world detective Mysterious but extremely attractive, promising to bring interesting and thrilling experiences to the audience.

Director Victor Vu revealed that the script for “Detective Kien: The Headless Case” was developed in parallel with “The Last Wife”, but the direction of exploitation is completely new. Although the film is based on the novel “Ho Oan Han” by author Hong Thai, it has been adapted with 60-70% new content in terms of story, setting and characters.

Detective Kien is the mandarin Kien, who handles and investigates the murder case that occurred at the house of the Duc Trong district magistrate in the hit film by director Victor Vu "The Last Wife". This is the most "promising" character in the film, loved by the audience, to the point that many viewers after watching the film asked director Victor Vu to develop a separate film about this character. This is also the first time director Victor Vu "indulged" the audience, making a separate project for a supporting character in the film, at the request of the audience.

I believe in this choice because of the content, the investment in production form, and the reception it has received from the public.”

With the direction of director Victor Vu, along with a professional production team, "Detective Kien: Headless Case" brings expectations of a breakthrough horror and detective work for Vietnamese cinema in 2025. The film is distributed by November, Galaxy Studio, and is expected to be released on May 16 in theaters nationwide.
