Up to now, many delegations from provinces and cities have visited Ho Chi Minh City at the invitation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Organizing and welcoming delegations to visit the city is a meaningful activity, showing the city's gratitude to the cadres, soldiers and those who directly participated in the great victory of Spring 1975.
This is also a practical activity contributing to the propaganda andeducation of the young generation, arousing and promoting the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, determination to fight and win, and valuable historical lessons of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 in the cause of innovation, national construction and development, firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam in the current context of globalization.
It is known that when arriving in the city, the delegations will visit a number of historical sites and famous landmarks in the area such as: Independence Palace historical site; visit Ben Nha Rong; Cu Chi Tunnels historical site; President Ho Chi Minh monument at Nguyen Hue walking street; experience the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line...
In addition, the delegations also participated in exchanges with officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of departments, branches, and localities directly welcoming the delegates.
The delegates expressed their joy, excitement and appreciation for the city's deep concern during the meaningful visit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
This is not only an opportunity for delegates to recall the heroic days of the nation, but also an opportunity to witness and feel the strong development of Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of national reunification.
