Ho Chi Minh City awarded Party badges on November 7

Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, presented Party badges to party members who had reached their Party age.

Accordingly, 32 comrades were honored to receive the Party Badge this time. Specifically: 1 party member received the 50-year Party Membership Badge; 3 party members received the 45-year Party Membership Badge; 2 party members received the 40-year Party Membership Badge; 26 party members received the 30-year Party Membership Badge.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Tran Van Nam, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee congratulated the Party members who received the Party Badge on this occasion and said that this is not only an honor for the comrades and their families, but also a source of pride and encouragement for the entire Party Committee; a source of strong encouragement and motivation for each cadre and Party member to continue to make efforts, maintain political mettle, revolutionary ethics, promote the pioneering and exemplary spirit, and excellently complete assigned tasks.

Comrade Tran Van Nam emphasized: You are the generation that has witnessed and directly contributed to the glorious journeys of our Party and our country, from the struggle for national liberation and reunification to building and defending the Fatherland and promoting the cause of innovation and increasingly deep and comprehensive international integration.

At the same time, I hope that you will continue to promote the pioneering spirit, be a shining example for the younger generation of cadres and party members to follow; continue to accompany, contribute ideas, and share valuable experiences to build a clean and strong Party organization.

Especially in the current context, the exemplary, steadfast and dedicated example of comrades is of special importance, adding confidence and motivation for the young generation of cadres and party members to continue to strive, maintain political courage, and meet the increasingly high requirements in the work of consulting, managing and operating the special urban government - Ho Chi Minh City.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nam also requested that Party committees at all levels continue to pay attention and create conditions for each Party member to promote their capacity and perform well their political tasks; promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; and link the responsibility of setting an example with the effectiveness of performing tasks, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.

It is known that on this occasion, the entire Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has 3,053 Party members awarded the Party Badge and 35 cases were posthumously awarded the Party Badge. Of which, 12 comrades received the 80-year Party Badge, 3 comrades received the 75-year Party Badge, 16 comrades received the 70-year Party Badge, 35 comrades received the 65-year Party Badge, and 221 comrades received the 60-year Party Badge.
