It is known that the International Cycling Union (UCI) has not yet confirmed the cases of winning the tickets to the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, according to international referees of the UCI, Nguyen Thi That has officially won the right to participate in the Olympics. This is the first ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics for Vietnamese sports.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will have 90 official spots for the women's road event, with host France getting two by default. The remaining spots will be based on the UCI's country rankings announced on October 17, 2023. Each country from first to fifth has a maximum of four athletes, from sixth to 10 has a maximum of three athletes... If we look at the rankings, the Vietnamese cycling team will almost certainly not be able to compete for a place at the Olympics.

Racer Nguyen Thi That will attend the 2024 Paris Olympics as the reigning Asian champion.
