The Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2025 is stipulated in the 2024-2025 academic year plan of each province and city. However, this schedule may change depending on the actual situation.

Kon Tum currently has the longest school holiday, starting from January 24th to February 7th, 2025. Since February 7th falls on a Friday, students in this province get an additional two days off for the weekend. Therefore, students in Kon Tum will have a total of 17 days off for the 2025 Lunar New Year (including weekends).
Hanoi and Lam Dong are the places that give students the shortest break, with 9 days.
