This year, Hanoi Open University enrolls 3 majors in the law group: law, economic law, international law, along with the announced combinations, including: D01 (math, literature, English), C01 (math, literature, physics), C03 (math, literature, history), C14 (math, literature, economic education and law). This information was announced by the school in February.
However, after the news that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) had stopped considering the C00 combination, the Ministry of Education and Training directed schools to review the combination to ensure fairness and the rights of candidates.
In this development, Hanoi Open University has also decided to adjust the admission combination. "Using the existing admission combinations with 2 basic subjects: math, literature and adding combination C00 will create opportunities for many candidates to be admitted to the school," said Mr. Do Ngoc Anh.
This year, Hanoi Open University plans to enroll 4,140 students in 21 majors with a variety of admission methods, including: direct admission; considering academic records (for majors in biotechnology and food technology); considering academic records or high school graduation exam scores combined with aptitude test scores (for majors in graphic design, interior design, fashion design and architecture); considering HSA competency assessment test results of Hanoi National University, TSA thinking assessment of Hanoi University of Science and Technology; considering 2025 high school graduation exam scores.
Hanoi Open University does not use the results of the foreign language exam exemption in the high school graduation exam for admission, but converts foreign language scores for candidates with international foreign language certificates.
