Hanoi adds nearly 7,800 10th grade quotas

Hanoi has just assigned nearly 7,800 additional 10th grade quotas to private high schools.

On the afternoon of June 18, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the assignment of enrollment targets for grade 10 (phase 2) to high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Accordingly, the Department assigned additional quotas to 26 private high schools with a total of 180 classes and 7,775 students.

Principals of private high schools are responsible for organizing enrollment according to assigned plans, regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training.

Previously, on April 16, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced a list of 77 private high schools assigned to enroll 10th graders for the next school year. The total number of quotas granted in the first round was 27,919. Thus, including both rounds, Hanoi has 35,694 quotas for 10th graders in private high schools.
