The rate of high school graduates in 2025 in Hanoi is in the top 34 provinces and cities - the highest result in the past 20 years of the city's education.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that, along with the whole country, the capital's education sector has made great efforts to achieve many outstanding achievements. "The achievements in recent years are very valuable, but the challenges on the development path of the sector are also enormous, requiring great efforts in the new era of development," Mr. Ngoc emphasized.
In particular, the capital's education sector needs to implement solutions to thoroughly overcome the shortcomings and limitations that have lasted for many years, such as: Low access to education; There is a difference between inner-city and suburban areas; Negative phenomena, achievement disease, extra teaching and learning not in accordance with regulations; Street violence; students violating traffic laws...

In order for the capital's education sector to develop rapidly in the coming time, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee requested the entire sector to pay attention to and well implement a number of specific contents and tasks such as: clearly defining responsibilities, presiding over and advising the City Party Committee and People's Committee on issues related to education and training in the area; needing to review the goals and tasks set out in Resolution 71 of the Politburo, comparing the actual situation in the capital to build programs and implementation plans in the spirit of being exemplary and leading.
Complete the review and supplement of the school network planning until 2030, with a vision to 2045, ensuring enough schools, enough classes, enough teachers to meet the learning needs of the people.
