On November 4, 2025, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission , ceasing to participate in the 13th Party Central Committee Secretariat; being mobilized, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term./.
