10th grade exam in Hanoi: Candidates bring phones into the foreign language exam room

After the foreign language exam this afternoon, June 7, Hanoi discovered that a candidate brought a cell phone into the exam room.

Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that the foreign language exam in the 10th grade entrance exam this afternoon, June 7, had 102,434/102,860 candidates taking the exam, reaching a rate of 99.59%, 426 candidates were absent, an increase of 6 candidates compared to the literature exam this morning.

This morning's literature exam in the city had no violations of regulations, but in the afternoon, a candidate was found to have brought a cell phone into the foreign language exam room.

According to regulations, candidates who bring cell phones into the exam room, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will be fined and suspended from the exam.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also said that all 201 exam sites were safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations.

Foreign language is the only multiple choice subject in the three entrance exams for non-specialized public high schools.
