Gold bar and ring market remains stable, world prices decrease - Lang Son Electronic Newspaper

Although the world gold price decreased by 7 USD, domestic businesses kept the price of gold rings unchanged from the previous session, currently trading around 77.10-78.40 VND/tael.

Opening the trading session this morning (August 21), the price of gold rings increased while SJC gold bars remained unchanged. The central exchange rate was adjusted down by another 5 VND.

At 9:00 a.m. this morning, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company announced the buying price at 79.0 million VND/tael and the selling price at 81.0 million VND/tael, unchanged from the previous session.

However, the price of gold rings at businesses has not been adjusted compared to the previous closing price. Currently, Phu Quy Company lists the price of 999.0 round gold rings from 77.10-78.40 million VND/tael.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of plain round gold rings is listed at 77.08-78.38 million VND/tael (buy/sell). SJC 999.9 gold rings are currently trading around 77.10-78.40 VND/tael.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 2,509 USD/ounce, down 7 USD compared to the same time last session. This price when converted is equivalent to 76 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on August 21 at 24,245 VND/USD, down 1 VND compared to August 21.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank listed the USD exchange rate from 24,740-25,110 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND.

However, BIDV Bank has no fluctuations, the current buying and selling prices are from 24,765-25,105 VND. VietinBank is also unchanged, currently buying at 24,760 VND/USD and selling at 25,100 VND/USD. Eximbank announced from 24,740-25,100 VND/USD./.
