Tho Xuan promotes the application of information technology in preschool education

During class at Xuan Hung Kindergarten, Tho Xuan District, the teacher prepares the lessons on the computer and connects to the TV via the internet. Thanks to that, students have intuitive access to vivid and attractive images and clips, making the lesson more engaging and effective.

Xuan Hung Kindergarten currently has 28 staff, teachers, employees and more than 260 students in each class. Currently, 100% of the classes have televisions and internet connection; 100% of teachers prepare lessons using electronic lesson plans. Teacher Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Xuan Hung Kindergarten, said: “As a teacher myself, we have actively applied information technology in the teaching process, especially AI technology in lessons, designing many lessons with vivid and attractive content, bringing many practical benefits in improving teaching effectiveness and attracting and creating excitement for children. Therefore, the lessons all achieve high results. Our team of teachers always strive, work hard, be flexible, and innovate teaching methods to ensure the highest quality of child care and education...”.

Tho Xuan district has 30 public kindergartens and 5 private kindergartens. Despite many difficulties, the education and training sector of Tho Xuan district has always actively promoted the application of information technology in schools through investing in facilities for digital transformation; training and improving skills for teachers, increasing lessons with information technology applications...

Currently, most school staff and teachers can proficiently use software to prepare lesson plans, thereby shortening lesson preparation time, saving printing costs and costs for making school supplies. At the same time, the application of industry database software; civil servant and public employee management; online primary school enrollment; universal education... has helped update, look up, and manage information about schools more quickly and accurately.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Diep, Principal of Tho Dien Kindergarten said: "If in the past students passively received knowledge, now students can be the center to acquire knowledge in a vivid way. If normally children could not acquire knowledge in such a vivid way, now through the application of information technology, children have acquired knowledge and are very interested in the subject. The school has encouraged teachers to create powerpoint lectures to apply in practice in the teaching process and the school also uses many ways to convey information to parents as well as the community."

It can be said that digital transformation in the education and training sector of Tho Xuan district still faces many difficulties, especially the lack of facilities.
