(PLVN) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today the Northern region will have thunderstorms, the Central region will continue to be hot, with the highest temperature in some places above 38 degrees Celsius.

The Hydrometeorological Agency forecasts that early in the morning of June 3, in the mountainous areas of the North, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 50mm.

On the afternoon and night of June 3, in the Northwest region, the plains, midlands of the North and the North Central region, there will be showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 80mm.

Warning of the risk of heavy rain (>80mm/3h). Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.

On June 3, the area from Nghe An to Binh Thuan will have hot and extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly at 50-55%. The heat wave in the North will end.

From June 4, the widespread heat wave in the Central region ended.

Hanoi

Northwest

Northeast

Cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas; in the plains and midlands, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, with some heavy rain in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Highest temperature: 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa - Hue

Cloudy, hot and very hot during the day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, no rain at night; Nghe An and Ha Tinh have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night, locally heavy rain. Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Highest temperature: North 33-36 degrees Celsius; South 36-38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

Cloudy, hot and very hot in the North; sunny in the South, hot in some places; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and evening. Southwest wind level 2-3, especially in the southern coastal areas, some places have strong gusts of wind level 7-8. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius.

Highest temperature: North 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius, South 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands
