On July 22, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City issued a document requesting relevant units to strengthen the work of ensuring order and safety of inland waterway traffic in the city.
This move aims to improve the quality of passenger transport on cruise ships and proactively respond to complex weather developments in the city.

Quang Nam Maritime Port Authority, Da Nang Inland Waterways Port Authority and transport business units are requested to coordinate in checking the technical safety conditions of vehicles, life-saving equipment, and crew capacity before granting permission to leave port.
Absolutely do not grant permission for vehicles to leave the port when they are carrying too many people, lack equipment or have crew members using stimulants.
Units also need to closely monitor weather conditions, proactively stop issuing licenses and guide ships to move to safe places when there are storms, limited visibility or unusually bad weather.
For transport businesses, the Department of Construction requires strict implementation of regulations on service quality, ticket price declaration, issuance and management of passenger tickets, tax obligations... according to current legal documents.
Port management units must maintain signaling systems, ensure safe mooring equipment, publicize operating regulations and service prices, and not accept vehicles that do not meet technical requirements or have expired documents.
The captain and vehicle operator are responsible for checking safety conditions during each shift and instructing passengers to wear life jackets properly before leaving the dock.
