Vietnamese fashion covers the world

Designers such as Cong Tri, Phuong My, Tran Hung, Phan Dang Hoang, Tra Linh... continuously present their collections at major events such as New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Tokyo Fashion Week... These are the world's leading fashion playgrounds and the presence of Vietnamese brands is increasing. Recently, at Shanghai Spring Summer Fashion Week 2025 (lasting from October 10 to 18 in China), designer Do Manh Cuong launched a new collection with 69 outfits inspired by "followers" with stylish and unconventional dressing style; with the participation of a series of famous domestic models such as Thanh Hang, Lan Khue, H'hen Nie, Minh Tu, Khanh Van, Ngoc Chau, Quynh Anh...

China is currently a large market, attracting most of the world's leading brands as well as young fashion brands. Do Manh Cuong said: "In the past, our Sixdo brand has been chosen by many Chinese stars and this is an opportunity to develop a stronger brand in this market as well as internationally." Do Manh Cuong has done shows in the US and Australia and has many designs (in the Spring Summer 2024 collection launched at New York Fashion Week in September 2023) chosen by the film crew Emily in Paris for the main character played by actress Lily Collins.

The fact that world-class stars such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Charlize Theron… choose outfits from Vietnamese designers for major events has affirmed the attractiveness and uniqueness of Vietnamese fashion in the international market. In particular, Cong Tri's outfits have appeared many times on the red carpet of prestigious events such as the Grammy, Met Gala and the Oscar awards ceremony. Collections by Vietnamese designers have also appeared in prestigious fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle… , helping to attract attention and mark the position of Vietnamese fashion on the world fashion map.

In early October, young model Huynh Tu Anh (Champion of The Face Vietnam 2023 ) participated in 5 shows in Paris (France) and Milan Fashion Week 2025 (Italy), appearing on the cover of Vogue magazine, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese models and fashion closer to global audiences.

In the near future, the "bridge" that has brought Vietnamese fashion to the international stage over the past years is the Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2024 fashion season, which will be held at Quan Ngua Sports Palace - Hanoi, lasting from November 13 to 16.
