State Bank Governor and 2 Ministers will answer questions from the National Assembly

(TN&MT) - State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung will answer questions at the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Standing Committee has notified delegates of the groups of questions at the 8th session.

Accordingly, 3 groups of questions were selected from the fields of banking, healthcare and information and communication.

The primary responsibility for responding lies with State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung.

According to the program sent to delegates by the National Assembly Standing Committee, the question and answer session will take place on November 11-12.

State Bank Governor Nguyen Thi Hong will be the first to answer questions on the morning of November 11.

Next will be Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan on the afternoon of November 11 and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung on the morning of November 12.

Group of issues in the banking sector

Monetary policy is conducted to control inflation in the context of a volatile world economic situation.

State management of gold market and foreign exchange market.

Support loans and exempt and reduce interest rates for people and businesses to restore production and business after natural disasters.

The responsibility to answer lies with the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Hong.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc; Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

Health Sector Issues Group

Mobilizing and arranging medical forces, ensuring medicine and medical supplies for people and disease prevention and control after natural disasters.

Granting of licenses and certificates to practice in the field of medical examination and treatment.

Current status of management of functional foods, pharmaceutical cosmetics and solutions to handle violations.

Prevention of harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants, especially in school environment.

The responsibility to answer is the Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan. Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, the Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Education and Training, Public Security, and National Defense also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

Group of issues in the field of information and communication

Solutions to improve the quality of journalism activities in the current period of social media explosion, especially the role of revolutionary journalism in promoting socio-economic development.

Management of advertising activities in newspapers and online environments.

Investing in, developing and improving the quality of telecommunications infrastructure, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas.

The responsibility to answer lies with the Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung.

The Chairman of the Ethnic Committee also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The Prime Minister or authorized Deputy Prime Minister will begin reporting to clarify issues related to the groups of questions from 3:10 p.m. on November 12.

Then directly answer questions from National Assembly deputies for about 45 minutes, from 3:50 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. on November 12.
