Unify data on Farmers Support Fund

On August 4, the Farmers' Association of Son La province held a meeting to unify data on the Farmers' Support Fund and set out key tasks for the last months of the year. The meeting was attended by nearly 150 delegates representing the Farmers' Associations of communes and wards in the province.

As of June 30, 2025, the Son La Provincial Farmers Support Fund has disbursed 70.16 billion VND through 230 projects, supporting 1,799 households with loans. Of which, the central budget implemented 24 projects, supporting 283 households with 15.9 billion VND; the provincial budget implemented 32 projects, 345 households borrowed 17.25 billion VND; the district budget implemented 173 projects, 1,170 households borrowed 36.97 billion VND. The fund has been effective, becoming a financial lever to help many farming households overcome difficulties and develop the economy .

At the meeting to unify data on the Farmers Support Fund, Branches, Professional Associations, Cooperatives, Cooperatives and Good Production and Business Households, delegates also deployed fund operations and Association tasks for the last 5 months of 2025. Accordingly, after implementing the arrangement of the two-level government apparatus, the Farmers Support Fund at the district, town and city levels was handed over to the province for management.

Delegates unanimously requested the Provincial Farmers' Association to direct grassroots cadres to focus on improving the quality of propaganda and political education for farmers; promote patriotic emulation movements; build a strong Association organization; proactively participate in Party and government building, supervision, and social criticism; and enhance services, consulting, and support for agricultural production and consumption.
