Agree on resettlement plan for landslide victims in Long Dien B commune

On the afternoon of June 9, the Steering Committee for Climate Change Response - Natural Disaster Prevention and Civil Defense of Cho Moi district held a meeting to gather opinions and unanimously issue a decision to urgently evacuate households affected by landslides in Long Dien B commune. Chairman of Cho Moi district People's Committee Cu Minh Trong chaired.

Accordingly, the draft plan for resettlement for 9 households in the landslide of Long Dien B commune that occurred on May 18, 2025 in the residential cluster of An Thanh Trung commune (Cho Moi district). The residential cluster of An Thanh Trung commune has been completed, accepted and put into use in March 2024. The investment project with complete infrastructure aims to meet the need for resettlement for people to live stably in the emergency landslide area along the riverbank with a scale of 89 plots, with a total investment of over 17.7 billion VND.

At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee for Climate Change Response - Natural Disaster Prevention and Civil Defense of Cho Moi district voted to issue a decision to urgently relocate households affected by landslides in Long Dien B commune. The relocation of households shows the concern of the local government, helping affected households to resettle soon, settle down, and stabilize their lives.
